Tulsa, Okla. – Northeast Oklahoma could see isolated thunderstorms between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. Monday, though chances remain on the lower side, according to the National Weather Service in Tulsa. The best opportunity for activity is north of I-44, where pop-up showers and brief downpours are possible.

According to forecasters, storm chances range between 10% and 20% through this evening, with the primary threats being gusty winds, small hail, and frequent cloud-to-ground lightning. Any storms that do form are expected to be short-lived but could still impact evening travel.

Cities including Tulsa, Bartlesville, and Vinita may see passing showers that could briefly reduce visibility on roadways. While the risk of flooding is minimal, the Weather Service urges residents to remain indoors if thunder is heard and to avoid flooded low-water crossings should isolated downpours occur.

Additional low storm chances return late tonight into Tuesday morning, extending into far northwest Arkansas. Conditions are expected to remain unsettled, with another chance for showers midweek.

Warnings remain limited at this time, but the National Weather Service will issue updates if storm activity intensifies.
