Cleveland, OH – Temperatures across northeast Ohio are rising well above normal through the weekend, bringing springlike conditions before a brief cooldown early next week.
According to the National Weather Service in Cleveland, a steady warming trend will continue through Saturday, with highs climbing from the 40s and 50s midweek into the 60s and even low to mid-70s by Friday and Saturday.
Forecast data shows cities including Akron, Canton, and Cleveland reaching the upper 60s to mid-70s at peak warmth this weekend. The warming trend is expected to remain dry, supporting widespread snowmelt and improved outdoor conditions across the region.
By Monday and Tuesday, temperatures are forecast to drop back closer to seasonal averages, marking a short-lived cooldown after the weekend warmth.
However, the National Weather Service notes another potential warmup could develop late next week and continue through the end of the month, with longer-range outlooks favoring above-normal temperatures across much of the eastern United States.
The 8- to 14-day outlook highlights a strong probability of above-average temperatures across the region, reinforcing a broader warming pattern heading into late March.
The warm stretch may be especially noticeable for students, outdoor workers, and commuters taking advantage of milder conditions before temperatures dip again early next week.
