Cleveland, OH – A cool and breezy Halloween Friday is underway across Northeast Ohio, with scattered lake effect clouds and light rain showers possible in the Snowbelt regions, according to the US National Weather Service Cleveland OH.

High temperatures will climb into the low to mid-50s, with brisk west to northwest winds continuing through the day. Areas east of Cleveland, including Ashtabula, Lake, and Geauga counties, have the best chance for isolated light showers, while skies farther west toward Toledo and Findlay are expected to stay mostly dry.

Forecasters say this cool pattern will persist into early Saturday before drier and slightly warmer weather moves in to close out the weekend. Winds should ease by tonight, allowing for a calmer and cooler evening with lows dipping into the upper 30s to low 40s.

The National Weather Service advises residents near Lake Erie to anticipate brief gusts and changing cloud cover through the afternoon.
