Northeast Missouri Faces Severe Thunderstorm Warning, Baseball-Sized Hail

Memphis, MO – A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for northeast Missouri as a powerful storm moves into the area, producing baseball-sized hail.

According to the US National Weather Service, the storm, which has already caused significant hail west of the region, is expected to bring wind gusts up to 60 mph and potential hail damage. Residents in the path of the storm, including areas around Memphis, Arbela, and Rutledge, are advised to seek shelter immediately. The warning remains in effect until 5 p.m. CDT Thursday.
