Morehouse, LA – Louisiana State Police Troop F announced 22 criminal arrests following a multi-agency operation this week targeting illegal drug activity and outstanding warrants across Morehouse and West Carroll Parishes.

According to the Louisiana State Police, the enforcement action was part of the Joint Enforcement TaskForce, conducted in collaboration with the Morehouse and West Carroll Parish Sheriff’s Offices and the Monroe Field Office. The initiative focused on reducing violent crime, disrupting drug trafficking networks, and recovering illegal firearms.

As a result of the operation, troopers issued 87 warnings, 42 traffic citations, and served seven fugitive warrants. Police also recovered a runaway juvenile, conducted two firearm seizures, and confiscated various narcotics, including approximately 119 grams of marijuana, 5.3 grams of methamphetamine, 1.6 grams of crack cocaine, and 0.6 grams of synthetic marijuana.

State police say the task force carried out 121 traffic stops and 75 public assists during the operation, which was aimed at strengthening community safety through proactive enforcement.
