Fort Worth, Texas – Unseasonably warm weather is expected across North Texas on Monday as high pressure remains in control, pushing afternoon temperatures well above normal for early February.

According to the National Weather Service office in Fort Worth, daytime highs are forecast to range from the upper 70s to the mid-80s across the region. Forecast temperatures include readings near 82 degrees in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, with highs reaching 83 to 84 degrees in communities such as Waco, Killeen, Graham, and Cisco.

Forecasters said conditions will be mostly sunny throughout the day as high pressure aloft dominates the region. South winds are expected to range from 5 to 10 mph during the day, increasing to 10 to 15 mph overnight.

Monday night temperatures are forecast to remain mild, with lows generally falling into the mid-50s to lower 60s. Overnight lows near 60 degrees are expected in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, while surrounding communities may dip into the upper 50s.

The National Weather Service noted that these temperatures are well above seasonal averages. Normal highs for early February typically range from around 60 to 62 degrees, with normal overnight lows near the upper 30s.

No hazardous weather is anticipated, and no watches or warnings are in effect. Forecasters emphasized that the warmth is being driven by persistent high pressure rather than storm activity.

Commuters along major North Texas corridors, including Interstates 35, 20, and 30, may notice warmer-than-usual conditions during morning and evening travel, though no travel impacts are expected.

The National Weather Service said warm conditions may continue into the near term, with additional updates provided as forecast details evolve.

Residents are encouraged to stay hydrated and remain aware of changing weather conditions despite the calm pattern.
