Fort Worth, TX – Increasing clouds and mild temperatures today set the stage for a rainy week ahead in North Texas. A 20% chance of showers begins late tonight, gradually increasing throughout the week.

According to the National Weather Service, today’s high will reach 62°F with south winds gusting up to 20 mph. Tonight, temperatures will drop to a low near 40°F, bringing a slight chance of light rain after 9 p.m. Sunday remains mostly cloudy, with highs near 51°F, as cooler north winds settle into the area.

By midweek, Fort Worth could see a significant uptick in rain. A 50% chance of showers is expected Wednesday, with thunderstorms possible. Highs will climb to 66°F, while lows stay near 45°F. Commuters along I-35W and nearby roadways should prepare for slick conditions during peak hours.

Looking ahead, Monday will offer a brief break in the clouds with mostly sunny skies and highs near 56°F. However, rain returns late Tuesday with a 30% chance of evening showers. Fort Worth residents are urged to monitor updates for potential storm development.

Plan accordingly for outdoor activities this weekend and be prepared for changing weather conditions by Tuesday. Ensure vehicles are equipped for wet roads and allow extra time during midweek commutes.
