Richland County, ND – A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 29 in Richland County resulted in one person sustaining serious injuries. The incident occurred on October 13th at approximately 10:30 p.m., just south of Christine, ND.
A 1995 Kenworth semi-truck driven by Roesler was heading south on I-29 when a 2011 Dodge Ram, driven by Schneider, collided with it. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Schneider failed to notice the semi’s reduced speed and rear-ended the truck. The impact forced the Dodge Ram into the median of the interstate.
Schneider was transported to Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND, with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Roesler was not injured.
The Kenworth truck pulled to the side after the accident, and both drivers had their seat belts on at the time of the crash.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
