Troopers said a 2002 Honda motorcycle was traveling west when the rider failed to negotiate a curve, causing the bike to slide onto its side.
Authorities said the 33-year-old rider, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle and sustained serious injuries. He was transported to CHI St. Alexius in Williston for treatment.
The Highway Patrol reported that the man was later arrested on suspicion of DUI, a Class B misdemeanor. Agencies assisting at the scene included the Williams County Sheriff’s Office and Williams County Ambulance.
