Oriska, ND – The North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) is asking for the public’s help identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that occurred Monday morning, November 3, around 8:20 a.m.

According to the NDHP, the incident happened on Highway 32 near Mile Marker 75, roughly two miles south of Oriska. A dark green 2004–2007 Saturn Vue allegedly attempted to pass a tractor-trailer, striking the front left corner of the truck as it turned. The Vue then left the scene before law enforcement arrived.

Witnesses or residents in the Oriska area who noticed a damaged green Saturn Vue matching the description are encouraged to call 701-328-2447 or email NDHPsafetyedu@nd.gov.

The NDHP continues to investigate the incident and is asking drivers in Barnes and Cass counties to stay alert for vehicles with fresh collision damage.
