Minot, ND – A 13-year-old bicyclist sustained serious injuries in a vehicle-pedestrian accident on 4th Avenue NW, prompting an urgent investigation by local authorities.

According to the Minot Police Department, the incident occurred on Thursday afternoon near the intersection of 4th Avenue NW and North Broadway. The juvenile was struck while riding their bike, leading to significant injuries. Emergency services swiftly transported the young victim to Trinity Hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol has taken over the investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
