Tuesday will bring some relief, with sunny skies and a high near 4°F, though wind chills will remain dangerously low in the morning. By Wednesday, temperatures will rise slightly to 3°F, but overnight lows of -19°F will maintain hazardous conditions.
Travelers on Interstate 29 and Highway 2 should prepare for extreme cold and reduced visibility due to occasional flurries. The National Weather Service advises wearing multiple layers, covering exposed skin, and avoiding prolonged outdoor activity.
