Charlotte, NC – North Carolina residents can expect a stretch of warm and sunny weather this weekend, but rain returns by midweek. Charlotte will see a high near 70°F on Saturday, making it an ideal day for outdoor plans. However, colder nights and a shift toward wetter conditions will impact the region early next week.

According to the National Weather Service, Friday will be sunny with a high of 63°F, followed by clear skies overnight with a low of 46°F. Winds will pick up slightly on Saturday, with gusts reaching 24 mph. A cold front Saturday night will drop temperatures to around 31°F, leading to a cooler Sunday with highs near 50°F.

By Monday, temperatures will warm back up to 54°F under mostly sunny skies. However, changes arrive Tuesday as showers become likely, especially overnight. The chance of precipitation increases to 60% by Tuesday night and rises to 70% by Wednesday.

Drivers along I-85 and I-77 should prepare for potentially wet road conditions by midweek. Morning commutes could be affected as rain showers move through the region. Those with outdoor plans early next week should consider alternative arrangements.

Looking ahead, Thursday will bring drier conditions, with temperatures rebounding to 60°F under sunny skies. Stay updated with the latest forecasts as weather patterns shift.
