Raleigh, N.C. – North Carolina stays warm and mostly dry through Saturday, but changes arrive by Sunday as scattered showers creep back into the Raleigh area. Daytime highs will hover in the mid-80s, with plenty of sunshine keeping conditions steady for outdoor plans.

According to the National Weather Service in Raleigh, Thursday and Friday will remain mostly sunny with highs in the mid-80s. Light northerly winds Thursday may gust up to 18 mph before easing into calm conditions Friday night. Lows will dip into the upper 60s, offering comfortable overnight relief.

Saturday continues the trend with bright skies and a high near 84, ideal for travel and events across Wake, Durham, and Johnston counties. By Sunday, however, moisture builds in from the south, raising rain chances to 30% by the afternoon and into the night. Drivers could see slick spots on major roads like I-40 and I-440, especially during evening commutes.

Residents are advised to enjoy the dry stretch before showers return late in the weekend. Additional advisories could follow if rainfall totals increase or storms intensify.
