Raleigh, NC – A cold Thursday night in Raleigh will give way to sunny skies and a warming trend by the weekend, with daytime highs climbing into the 50s. Residents are advised to prepare for chilly evenings but can look forward to more comfortable conditions during the day.

According to the National Weather Service, tonight’s low will dip to 21°F with gradual clearing overnight. Friday promises plenty of sunshine with a high of 43°F and light northwest winds at 6 mph. As temperatures drop to 20°F Friday night, outdoor plans should include layers to combat the chill.

By Saturday, Raleigh will see more sunshine with highs reaching 44°F. Winds could add to the chill in the morning, but conditions will ease by the afternoon. Saturday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 27°F.

The real warm-up begins Sunday, with mostly sunny skies and highs peaking at 52°F. The milder conditions will extend into Monday, when temperatures rise further to 53°F under mostly sunny skies. Nights will still be cool, with lows in the mid-30s.

This warming trend is a welcome shift after Raleigh’s frigid week. Locals planning outdoor activities should aim for Sunday’s mild afternoon, perfect for walks, bike rides, or local events.
