Charlotte, NC – Residents can expect a stretch of sunny and mild weather through the early part of the week before rain chances increase Thursday.
According to the National Weather Service, Sunday will bring clear skies and a high of 56°F, with calm winds making for a pleasant day. Overnight temperatures will drop to 33°F, with mostly clear conditions continuing into Monday.
Monday and Tuesday will see a warming trend, with highs of 62°F and 69°F, respectively, under sunny skies. Overnight lows will remain in the upper 30s and low 40s. By Wednesday, temperatures will climb near 69°F again, with only a few clouds expected.
Changes arrive Thursday when a 50% chance of showers develops. Partly sunny conditions will persist with a high near 64°F, but increasing cloud cover may lead to scattered rain showers into Thursday night. Friday will see a return to drier conditions, with a high of 57°F.
For those planning outdoor activities, the first half of the week offers ideal conditions. However, residents should stay updated on the potential for rain later in the week.
