According to the National Weather Service, Saturday, March 1, will bring sunny skies and a high near 72°F in Wilmington and surrounding areas. Winds will be out of the southwest at 7-14 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Saturday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 37°F, and winds will increase after midnight.

Sunday will remain sunny, with cooler temperatures reaching a high of 51°F. Sunday night will be clear, but temperatures will drop significantly to around 29°F, bringing the potential for frost in some areas.

Monday’s forecast calls for sunshine and a high near 55°F, while Monday night will see increasing clouds and a low of 39°F. Tuesday will be partly sunny, warming up to 67°F, but conditions will shift midweek.

By Wednesday, March 5, rain chances increase to 60%, with breezy conditions and a high near 72°F. Showers will continue into Wednesday night, with temperatures dropping to 50°F.
