Affected areas include Avery, Madison, Yancey, Mitchell, Swain, Haywood, and Graham counties, with cities such as Waynesville, Bryson City, and Burnsville likely to see slippery roads. The evening commute could be challenging, with snow-covered roads and possible tree branches falling due to gusty winds.
