As the sun sets, fog is expected to develop, becoming locally dense across Raleigh and surrounding areas into Wednesday morning. Drivers should be particularly cautious along major roadways, including I-40 and nearby interstates, as visibility could drop significantly in fog-prone areas.
On Wednesday, residents can expect even warmer temperatures, with a high of 79 degrees anticipated under partly sunny skies once the fog lifts mid-morning. Wednesday night will bring partly cloudy conditions and a low around 57 degrees. Thursday promises another warm day, with a high nearing 80 degrees, accompanied by a gentle southwest breeze, making it one of the warmest days of the week.
Looking ahead, Friday will maintain sunny skies and a high of 81 degrees, but temperatures are set to dip slightly over the weekend.
