Charlotte, N.C.- The 32nd Annual Carolina Renaissance Fair opens Oct. 4 2025, offering visitors a chance to step back into the 16th century on a 25-acre fairground filled with food, music, crafts and live entertainment.
Visitors can come dressed for the occasion as costumes are not only encouraged, but sold on-site. Adult costumes range from $18 to $65, with an average cost of $39. Children’s costumes are $8 to $25, averaging $14. Rentals are also available through Belrose Costume Rentals.
Entertainment includes games, rides and live shows. Guests can ride the world’s largest rocking horse, try their hand at archery or enjoy jousting competitions and activities.
Features performers include:
- Barely Balanced: An acrobatic trio performing “Sharp Knives and Stupid Humans Extravaganza” and “Fire Finale” twice daily.
- Harry and Harrison: A juggling and music duo blending playful banter with modern and traditional circus styles.
- The London Broil Show: A trio combining dangerous juggling, comedy and acrobatics in “Blades of Fury,” “The Story of Louie” and “Jugglers on Fire.”
- Sisters of the Skies: Aerialists weaving tales of warriors, sisterhood and mythical beasts set to music.
Food vendors will serve turkey legs, soup in bread bowls, sweet treats, alcoholic and caffeinated beverages. Shoppers can browse dozens of artisan stalls selling dresses, hats, leatherwork, swords, candles, teas, glassware and more.
Tickets are available on the Carolina Renaissance Fair website. Admission is $23.99 for children ages 5-12 and $37.99 for ages 13 and older. A season pass for ages 13 and up is $226.99. Children 4 and under are admitted free.
