San Francisco, CA – A Cold Weather Advisory remains in effect for the North Bay through 8 a.m. Saturday, as temperatures dip between 33 and 36 degrees overnight, according to the National Weather Service San Francisco Bay Area.

The advisory includes areas such as Santa Rosa, Napa, Petaluma, and San Rafael, where residents are urged to take precautions against the cold. In higher elevations, temperatures could fall into the upper 20s, increasing the risk of frost and hypothermia for vulnerable populations.

According to the Weather Service, these cold conditions may be hazardous for unhoused individuals, as well as pets and livestock. Residents are encouraged to check on neighbors, use proper shelter, and bring pets indoors. Local officials may open warming centers overnight in response to the advisory.

The cold pattern is expected to ease by late Saturday morning as temperatures begin to rebound. Until then, residents across the North Bay should prepare for freezing overnight lows and frosty morning commutes.
