By the weekend, clouds will increase with a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms developing Saturday afternoon. Sunday carries a higher risk, with a 60% chance of rain and storms likely throughout the day.
Spring break travelers and weekend drivers should stay weather-aware, particularly if commuting along major routes like I-565 and Highway 72. Flash flooding and slick roads may become hazards during heavier rain periods.
