Forecasters warn that lightning and sudden heavy rain could impact drivers across Madison, Limestone, and Morgan counties, particularly during peak travel hours.
Friday’s high will reach near 90 degrees before storms taper off overnight, leaving partly cloudy skies and lows around 71. Saturday brings the most active weather, with storms likely after 10 a.m. and highs near 87. Calm winds will shift out of the east and southeast, keeping conditions muggy.
The weather improves by Sunday night, leading into a sunny and warmer start to next week. Highs will climb back into the mid-80s Monday with clear skies holding through midweek.
