Lockport, NY – A 26-year-old woman was arrested in Lockport last week after allegedly attempting to bring contraband into the Niagara County Correctional Facility, according to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Michael Filicetti announced that Brittany A. Jeeves was charged with Introducing Prison Contraband, a misdemeanor, following the September 22 incident. Authorities said the alleged violation occurred while Jeeves was visiting an incarcerated individual at the county facility.
According to the sheriff’s office, Jeeves was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Lockport Court on Wednesday, October 2, 2025, at 9 a.m. Officials said the suspected contraband was turned over to the Niagara County Forensic Laboratory for analysis, and additional charges may be filed depending on the results.
The incident was documented under case number 2025-46473. Deputy N. Redenbach was assigned to the arrest, with Captain M. Reele listed as supervisor.
