Newfane, NY – Niagara County Sheriff’s officials have released the name of the driver killed in a motor vehicle accident Thursday evening on Lockport-Olcott Road in the Town of Newfane.

According to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred around 7:13 p.m. on October 16, 2025, when a southbound 2014 Chevrolet left the roadway. The driver, identified as 74-year-old Adele M. Sullivan of Lockport, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputy Z. Krathaus led the investigation, assisted by Deputies M. Stephenson and P. Mackin, as well as New York State Trooper C. Tiwana. The Miller Hose Volunteer Fire Company and Miller Hose Volunteer Ambulance also responded to the incident.
