According to officials, the homeowner was able to safely evacuate without injury. Fire personnel from the Ransomville Volunteer Fire Company, South Wilson Volunteer Fire Company, and Youngstown Volunteer Fire Company arrived soon after and successfully put out the fire.
Deputies Proch and M. Clarke, along with Lieutenant J. Austin, assisted on scene. The Niagara County Fire Investigation Unit is reviewing the cause of the incident.
