Lockport, NY – Three Buffalo men were arrested early Monday morning following a suspicious activity call that led to a traffic stop and the recovery of stolen property in the Town of Lockport, according to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and New York State Police were dispatched around 2:05 a.m. Monday to the 600 block of Birchwood Drive after a 911 caller reported two people attempting to enter vehicles by pulling door handles. The caller also provided a suspect vehicle description and license plate number.

Patrols responded to the area, and a plainclothes investigator located the vehicle nearby. Authorities observed three males moving from driveway to driveway through surrounding neighborhoods, prompting marked units to respond. A traffic stop was then conducted at Rebeca Road and Bordino Drive.

Following a lengthy investigation, deputies arrested Roland D. Reddick, 20, of Buffalo; Amarion D. Sharp, 20, of Buffalo; and Lamont L. Lewis, 22, of Buffalo.

According to investigators, all three were charged with Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree (E felony), Petit Larceny (A misdemeanor), and Conspiracy (A misdemeanor). Reddick and Lewis were released on appearance tickets under New York’s bail reform laws. Sharp, who was reportedly released last week for a similar arrest in the Town of Hamburg, was held for centralized arraignment.

Multiple items of stolen property were recovered from the vehicle, which was subsequently impounded. The Niagara County Criminal Investigation Bureau continues to investigate the case.

Residents in the Woodlands area and surrounding neighborhoods who believe property may be missing from their vehicles are urged to contact the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office at 716-438-3393.
