According to the National Weather Service in Albany, temperatures are projected to rise to a high of 70 degrees Wednesday in Albany, with a slight chance of light showers in the early afternoon, primarily after 1 p.m. Winds will pick up slightly, moving south at around 9 mph, and contributing to the warmer temperatures. Clearer skies will dominate as the afternoon progresses, making for a calm evening, particularly beneficial for voters commuting to the polls.
Looking ahead, Thursday is expected to bring mostly sunny skies with a high of 62 degrees, followed by a clear night with a low of 39. Friday will maintain sunny conditions with cooler temperatures, peaking around 61 degrees during the day. The upcoming weekend forecasts a mix of sun and clouds, with Saturday remaining clear and sunny at a high of 55, while Sunday introduces a slight chance of showers and a high near 57.
