Elsewhere, only a dusting is expected, mainly on grassy surfaces. Snow chances peak between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., with precipitation probabilities ranging from 65% to 75% across most affected cities during this window.
Motorists should allow extra travel time during the late morning and early afternoon, especially in hilly regions where roads may briefly become slick. Snowfall rates will taper off after sunset, as drier air begins moving into the region.
This pattern follows a mild start to the week and precedes warmer weather expected Thursday, with highs rebounding into the 40s and 50s. Residents are advised to monitor local road conditions and use caution on untreated surfaces until temperatures climb above freezing later this week.
