According to the National Weather Service in Albany, the morning fog and low clouds will give way to partly sunny skies, but showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop in the afternoon.

There is a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 5) for severe storms, with damaging winds being the primary threat. Locally heavy downpours are also anticipated, which could lead to minor flooding in some areas.

Today’s high temperature is forecasted to reach 84°F, with a 75% chance of precipitation. The weather conditions are expected to improve by Thursday, although there is still a 35% chance of showers with a high of 82°F. The rest of the week looks clearer, with sunny skies and highs in the low to mid-80s from Friday through Sunday. By Monday, temperatures are expected to soar to 90°F under partly cloudy skies.
