According to the National Weather Service in Binghamton, a Heat Advisory remains in effect through 8 p.m. Tuesday, with the most dangerous conditions between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Outdoor workers, schoolchildren, and commuters along NY-17 and I-81 should take extra precautions.
