Somers, NY – The New York State Police are conducting an intensive manhunt following a fatal shooting in Somers on October 28. The incident, which occurred around 11:35 p.m., left one person dead and two others hospitalized with injuries. Authorities are urging residents to remain vigilant and avoid the area.

The suspect, identified as Fernando Jimenez, 40, was last seen in the vicinity of Peekskill Hollow Road in Putnam Valley. Police report that Jimenez is familiar with the victims, which raises concerns about targeted violence. Authorities consider him armed and dangerous.

According to police reports, Jimenez stands approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs around 170 pounds, and was last seen wearing black sweatpants and a gray sweatshirt. The area has a heavy police presence as law enforcement continues its search.
