Westport, NY – Authorities are actively searching for Collen Gardner, a Vermont parole absconder considered armed and dangerous, in Essex County.
According to the New York State Police, Gardner is believed to be in a wooded area off Mountain View Road in Westport. Officials are urging residents to lock their doors and remain vigilant.
Law enforcement is asking the public to report any suspicious activity but not to approach or engage Gardner. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 or contact State Police dispatch at 518-897-2000.
