New York, NY – A cloudy Friday morning in New York City and surrounding areas is expected to gradually give way to increasing rain chances later in the day. According to the U.S. National Weather Service, light showers are possible during the morning hours, with rain expected to intensify in the afternoon and overnight.
The rain may even mix with snow in some northern and western areas of New York City. High temperatures on Friday will be in the upper 40s to low 50s across much of the region, with a high of 50°F in New York, 48°F in Jersey City, and 49°F in Hartford, Connecticut.
