Whiting, IN – The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) has rescheduled the public meeting to discuss the air permit renewal for BP Products North America Inc. – Whiting Business Unit.
According to IDEM, the new meeting date is Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 6:00 PM CT, in Room 200 at Calumet College of St. Joseph. Stakeholders are encouraged to review the permit application and IDEM’s preliminary findings online and submit comments by February 26, 2024.
The meeting will facilitate a dialogue on the draft permit and address community concerns directly.
