Albuquerque, NM – Dry weather will continue across northern and central New Mexico through at least the middle of next week, with mild temperatures and periods of gusty winds, according to the National Weather Service in Albuquerque.

Forecasters say overnight lows Wednesday night will dip into the 30s and low 40s, with clear skies allowing the November Beaver Supermoon to remain visible early Thursday. Breezy to windy conditions are expected to develop Thursday afternoon, especially across the central highlands and eastern plains, where gusts may reach 25–35 mph.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will stay near to above normal into the weekend, with highs generally in the 60s and 70s across most locations. A cold front on Sunday may bring slightly cooler readings, particularly in eastern New Mexico.

While the first half of November looks dry, meteorologists say a pattern change is likely by mid-month, bringing a 45–65% chance for above-normal precipitation. That shift could open the door for wetter and potentially cooler conditions later in the month.

Residents in eastern New Mexico should also note elevated fire weather conditions Thursday, as humidity drops to 10–15% alongside gusty afternoon winds.
