Areas of freezing fog and lows near 25°F are expected Sunday night, posing a visibility hazard on I-25 and throughout central New Mexico. Drivers should reduce speed and use low beams when navigating fog-prone routes. The National Weather Service advises caution for anyone commuting early Monday, especially near river valleys and low-lying zones.

According to the National Weather Service in Albuquerque, freezing fog is expected to clear by mid-morning Monday, followed by a rapid warmup to 69°F with sunny skies. Winds will remain light from the north at 5 mph, offering relief after a weekend of variable gusts.

Monday night will be mostly clear with lows near 37°F, setting the stage for a warmer week ahead. Tuesday’s forecast calls for sunny skies and a high near 78°F. By Wednesday, Albuquerque could see springlike highs around 82°F under clear skies.
