Valencia County, NM – Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing endangered man last seen in Valencia County early this morning.
According to the New Mexico State Police and the Valencia County Sheriff’s Office, 28-year-old Joseph Gurule was last seen on Turner Drive in Valencia County at approximately 2:45 a.m. Wednesday. Gurule is described as 5’11”, weighing 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was reportedly last seen wearing a white shirt and shorts.
The Valencia County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Missing Endangered Advisory, emphasizing that Gurule’s disappearance is a cause for concern and urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the Valencia County Sheriff’s Office at 505-865-9130. Authorities ask that if Gurule is seen, the public should immediately call 9-1-1.
The ongoing search has mobilized both law enforcement and local residents, with officials reminding the public that any tip—no matter how small—may be crucial to locating Gurule safely.
