According to the New Mexico State Police, the Crime Suppression Bureau’s Narcotics Agents conducted the operation from June through August, targeting individuals allegedly involved in trafficking controlled substances in Bernalillo County. Agents carried out controlled purchases of drugs and executed arrest and search warrants between August 5 and August 7, with the help of the NMSP Tactical Team.

Those arrested include: Sean Montoya, 22; Johnny Pacheco, 27; Alexa Gonzalez Cruz, 19; Thoumas Chandler, 26; Joseph Montoya, 21; Andre Padilla, 32; and Carlo Guillen, 24. Charges range from multiple counts of trafficking a controlled substance to conspiracy, resisting arrest, possession of stolen property, and firearm offenses.

Authorities reported seizing approximately 20 grams of methamphetamine, 359.2 grams of cocaine, and 175 grams of fentanyl. Four firearms were also confiscated, one of which was confirmed stolen.

State police said the investigation was aimed at curbing the flow of illegal drugs into the community and disrupting the network of traffickers operating in the area. Officials said such operations will continue as part of an ongoing effort to address drug-related crime and improve public safety in New Mexico.
