New Lenox, IL – Women in New Lenox can learn crucial self-defense techniques at a free class hosted by the New Lenox Police Department on November 22. This empowering event, taught by Master Jung, will take place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Jung’s Champion Taekwondo, located at 2433 Joliet Highway.
According to organizers, the class will cover basic self-defense moves and essential skills for personal protection. Open to women aged 18 and older, the session encourages women to invite friends, as learning together can enhance both skills and confidence. Attendees will benefit from hands-on guidance from Master Jung, a skilled Taekwondo instructor.
Space is limited to 40 participants, with preference given to New Lenox residents. The New Lenox Police aim to equip women with practical strategies to boost their confidence and personal safety. Interested individuals can register by calling (815) 462-6100 or emailing kkioltyka@newlenox.net.
