Highs will rebound quickly, with most of the region climbing into the 70s Wednesday through Friday, and even near 80°F in parts of inland Delaware and southern New Jersey. Coastal areas will be cooler, sticking to the 60s.
The next chance for rain arrives Friday night into Saturday, bringing potential thunderstorms and a 50–60% chance of showers. Commuters and weekend travelers should prepare for slick roads and brief downpours.
