New Jersey State Police Seek Public’s Help in Brush Fire Investigation

Hainesport Township, NJ – Authorities are seeking assistance in identifying individuals connected to a brush fire near the “Big Rusty” monument on State Highway 38 on November 18.

According to the New Jersey State Police, troopers responded to the fire around 4:39 p.m. The incident, deemed suspicious following a preliminary investigation, has prompted authorities to release surveillance photos of five individuals believed to have information about the case.

The police urge anyone who recognizes the individuals, witnessed the event, or has relevant details to contact the Bordentown Station Detective Bureau at 609-298-1171. Anonymous tips are welcomed.
