Mount Holly, NJ – A Wind Advisory has been issued for New Jersey, Delaware, and southeastern Pennsylvania as powerful gusts up to 50 mph are expected Thursday.
According to the National Weather Service, the advisory will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sustained winds of 25–35 mph with occasional gusts could knock down tree limbs and power lines, leading to scattered outages. Drivers on major roadways, including I-295 and I-95, are urged to exercise caution, particularly those operating high-profile vehicles.
The advisory warns of potential snow showers accompanying a cold front Thursday morning, which may cause reduced visibility and slick road conditions. Residents should secure loose outdoor items, including decorations, to prevent damage.
