Nashua, NH – A woman was killed early Wednesday after being struck by a pickup truck on the F.E. Everett Turnpike near the Massachusetts border, prompting a multi-agency investigation and extended lane closures.

According to New Hampshire State Police, troopers responded at approximately 3:01 a.m. to reports of a pedestrian hit on the southbound side of the turnpike near mile marker 4 in Nashua. The victim, an adult female whose identity is being withheld pending family notification, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of a Chevrolet Silverado, identified as the involved vehicle, was found in the breakdown lane and remained at the scene, authorities said. Troopers were joined by officers from the Nashua Police Department and emergency responders from Nashua Fire Rescue in securing and investigating the scene.

Southbound travel lanes were closed for several hours as officials conducted an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. No charges or citations have been announced as of Wednesday morning, and the incident remains under active investigation.
