Manchester, New Hampshire – Easter Sunday travel across New Hampshire could turn messy at times as periods of rain develop statewide, while northern and higher elevation areas face a rain-to-snow mix that may create slick conditions during key holiday travel hours.
According to the National Weather Service, this 6-to-10 day outlook favors above-normal precipitation across the Northeast through midweek, with temperature swings supporting mixed precipitation, especially overnight and across higher terrain.
In Manchester, Nashua, and Concord, rain will be the primary concern, with occasional heavier showers reducing visibility during peak travel hours Sunday between 6 a.m. and noon. Roads including I-93, Route 101, and the Everett Turnpike may see ponding water and slower traffic tied to Easter travel.
Farther north, including Berlin, Littleton, and areas along I-93 through Franconia Notch, temperatures dipping into the low to mid-30s overnight could allow rain to mix with or change to wet snow. Light slushy accumulation is possible on untreated roads and elevated surfaces.
Daytime temperatures will trend near to slightly above normal, keeping most southern مناطق wet rather than wintry, but still unfavorable for outdoor Easter activities.
Unsettled conditions persist through April 9, and additional advisories may be issued as confidence increases in precipitation type and timing.
