Manchester, NH – A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for New Hampshire, with snow, sleet, and freezing rain expected tonight.

According to the National Weather Service, light snow and sleet are likely to begin around 9 p.m. tonight, lasting until approximately 11 p.m. A brief period of freezing rain is possible before temperatures rise above freezing late in the evening. The combination of snow, sleet, and ice may create slippery conditions on roads, especially in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Temperatures will drop to around 33°F tonight in Manchester, with a wind chill making it feel colder. A winter weather advisory is in place for the region, including Coastal York, Cumberland, and Rockingham Counties, where similar conditions are anticipated.

Thursday’s forecast calls for increasing rain through the day, with temperatures reaching the mid-60s by afternoon. The wet weather will persist into the weekend, bringing heavier rain on Saturday and Sunday, along with gusty winds.

Residents are advised to prepare for possible hazardous travel conditions overnight and to stay updated on weather alerts as the storm progresses.
