Manchester, New Hampshire – Sunny skies will dominate the weekend across New Hampshire, but residents should brace for climbing temperatures and hazy conditions beginning Sunday and peaking Monday, when highs are set to reach near 91°F.

According to the National Weather Service in Gray, Maine, widespread haze will settle over the region Sunday afternoon and persist through Monday night, potentially reducing air quality in the Queen City, Nashua, and Concord. Overnight lows will remain in the upper 50s to low 60s, offering little relief for those without air conditioning.

The hottest hours are expected Sunday and Monday, especially along I-93 and in communities like Hooksett, Bedford, and Derry. Outdoor workers and vulnerable groups should limit activity during peak heat, stay hydrated, and avoid strenuous outdoor tasks in the afternoon. Haze may impact visibility for drivers on Route 101 and local highways.

Dry, sunny weather and low humidity will also increase fire danger statewide, so residents are urged to use caution with outdoor grilling or open flames.

The current heat and haze will persist through Monday night, with slightly cooler and partly cloudy weather expected by midweek. Further updates or advisories may be issued if air quality worsens or heat risks increase.
