Manchester, NH – The National Weather Service in Gray, Maine, reports that dense fog and scattered rain showers will linger overnight into Monday across southern New Hampshire, potentially causing reduced visibility and slippery travel conditions for the Monday morning commute.

At Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, early Monday readings showed 46°F with fog, mist, and light drizzle. Visibility is currently limited to one mile, and winds remain calm, allowing fog to thicken overnight.

Forecasters expect rain to continue through Monday morning, tapering off by early afternoon. Temperatures will reach a high near 56°F before cooling into the 40s Monday night as skies begin to clear. Patchy fog may redevelop after sunset.

Conditions will improve significantly on Veterans Day, with mostly sunny skies and highs near 39°F. The rest of the week will feature dry weather and a gradual warm-up, with temperatures reaching the upper 40s by Thursday and near 50°F by Friday.

Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time early Monday due to limited visibility and damp road surfaces.
