Manchester, New Hampshire – Southern New Hampshire gets one more warm, sunny day before wet weather moves in to start the workweek. A powerful system is expected to bring scattered showers and gusty winds along I-293 and I-93 through Monday afternoon, with localized thunder possible after 2 p.m.

According to the National Weather Service in Gray, Maine, Sunday will remain mostly sunny in Manchester with a high near 84°F. South winds could gust up to 20 mph ahead of the approaching front. Rain chances increase dramatically after midnight, with a 40% chance of showers developing into a more organized system by midday Monday.

Travelers and commuters should be alert for wet roads and possible delays, especially from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday, when a thunderstorm risk develops across Hillsborough County. Areas like Hooksett, Bedford, and Goffstown could see sudden downpours. Winds may also pick up to 20 mph, adding to the potential for tree limbs or debris on roadways.
