New Hampshire Police K-9 Captures Driver After Dangerous I-93 Pursuit

Hooksett, NH – A Manchester man was arrested Wednesday following a high-speed pursuit on Interstate 93 that ended with his capture by a State Police K-9 unit.

According to New Hampshire State Police, the incident began at 10 a.m. when a Trooper conducting a commercial vehicle inspection on I-93 northbound in Hooksett observed a driver behaving erratically after pulling over a blue 2013 Dodge Dart. The driver fled the scene, leading Troopers on a chase that reached speeds exceeding 100 mph and involved dangerous maneuvers, including driving toward oncoming traffic.

The pursuit continued through Concord and onto Route 3 in Boscawen, where the driver forced other vehicles off the road. The chase ended when the Dodge struck a snowbank at a traffic rotary near Exit 17. Trooper First Class Derek Myrdek and his K-9 partner, Ragnar, apprehended the suspect at the scene.

The driver, identified as Jason Marcoux, 48, of Manchester, faces multiple charges, including 10 counts of felony reckless conduct, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and driving after suspension for DUI.
